Shah Shahroozi Named Top Project Director of the Year by IAOTP

NEW YORK The International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) has named Shah Shahroozi, Executive Project Director at Fluor Enterprise Inc., as its Top Project Director of the Year for 2025. He will be formally honored at IAOTP’s prestigious annual awards gala this December at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.

With more than 40 years of leadership across industries and continents, Shahroozi has established himself as a results-driven strategist. At Fluor Enterprise, he oversees complex programs with precision in cost, scheduling, and performance reliability. His portfolio spans the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, and Australia.

Earlier in his career, Shahroozi worked as a Facility Operation Engineer at Morton Thiokol Inc., contributing to NASA’s solid rocket booster program, and later as a Power Control System Engineer at Fluor E&C and Ocean Services. His technical expertise extends from engineering, procurement, and construction to commissioning, operations readiness, and client market-entry support.

Shahroozi holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (Aerospace) and an M.S. in Merger Acquisition and Contract Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Utah and South Carolina, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and credentialed in Agile Project Management.

Throughout his career, he has been recognized for excellence in project management, leadership, and people development. IAOTP President Stephanie Cirami described him as “an inspirational leader, visionary, and thought leader,” adding that his selection was an easy decision for the panel.

Beyond his career, Shahroozi values mentorship, resilience, and lifelong learning. He enjoys traveling with his family and is committed to guiding the next generation of professionals.
