Opoint Names Peter Ferrold as CEO to Lead Next Phase of Global Expansion

Seasoned commercial leader Peter Ferrold to spearhead innovation, growth, and international scale for leading real-time news data firm. 

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK / August 4, 2025Opoint, a global provider of enriched real-time news data, has announced the appointment of Peter Ferrold as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective August 11, 2025. With a two-decade career marked by consistent growth, innovation, and team leadership, Ferrold’s appointment signals the start of a dynamic new chapter for the company. 

Peter brings a robust background in commercial strategy and market expansion, with leadership experience spanning compliance and legal tech, health tech, telecom, and SaaS. Most recently, he served as Chief Sales Officer at a fast-growing Danish legal tech company, where he led major go-to-market initiatives and scaled operations across Europe and the U.S. 

Known for blending strategic acumen with a people-first approach, Peter has held multiple senior roles including Sales Director and Head of Sales & Marketing, managing revenues of up to 200 million DKK and teams of 150. He holds an MSc in International Marketing & Management and a BSc in Economics & Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School, and is certified in organizational coaching and development.
