Dover Fueling Solutions Introduces ProGauge LR120 Radar to Advance Precision in Industrial Tank Measurement

New automatic tank gauging solution expands global ProGauge portfolio with high-accuracy radar technology for complex and hazardous environments

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Feb. 26, 2026 — Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS), a part of Dover (NYSE: DOV), has announced the launch of the ProGauge® LR120 Radar, its newest automatic tank gauging (ATG) solution designed specifically for industrial applications. The release strengthens DFS’s ProGauge portfolio by introducing advanced radar-based measurement technology engineered to enhance accuracy, reliability, and operational visibility across diverse industrial settings.

The ProGauge LR120 Radar is now available across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), as well as South America and Latin America. Developed to integrate seamlessly with the ProGauge MagLink LX® console family, the LR120 enables operators to gain comprehensive insights into tank inventory levels, supporting improved stock management and operational efficiency.

Designed for durability and long-term performance, the LR120 Radar is housed in an airtight polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) enclosure. This robust packaging protects the device in challenging industrial environments, ensuring consistent and reliable measurements over extended service periods. The radar technology provides precise level measurement at distances of up to 98.4 feet (30 meters), making it suitable for large storage tanks and other demanding installations.

The LR120’s long-range capability and narrow beam design allow it to perform effectively in tanks and wet wells where obstructions may interfere with traditional measurement methods. It is also optimized for solid-level measurement, expanding its versatility beyond liquid monitoring. Additionally, the radar is approved for open-air applications outside of tanks and is hazardous area-compliant for use in explosive environments containing dust, making it adaptable for a wide range of industrial scenarios.

According to Nuno Almeida, Director of Product Management for DFS in EMEA, the expansion of the ProGauge portfolio reflects the company’s commitment to providing comprehensive fuel and inventory management solutions. He noted that ProGauge has evolved into a leading brand within the ATG sector, serving as a one-stop shop for operators seeking complete visibility into fuel stocks and related assets. By incorporating highly accurate radar measurement tailored for industrial use, DFS aims to deliver truly global solutions that address the varied needs of customers worldwide.

One of the LR120 Radar’s distinguishing technical features is its 2mm accuracy near zero range distance. This precision allows operators to manage inventory levels with confidence, minimizing discrepancies and optimizing stock control processes. For facilities that rely on accurate level readings to maintain safety, compliance, and operational continuity, such accuracy can significantly enhance performance and reduce risk.

The device’s compact design also simplifies installation. Its ease of deployment supports faster implementation in both new and existing setups, reducing downtime and enabling operators to quickly benefit from enhanced monitoring capabilities. The radar’s compatibility with the MagLink LX console family ensures streamlined data integration and centralized oversight of tank measurements.

Stefano Scatena, Senior Director and General Manager for ATG and Wet Stock Management at DFS, emphasized the flexibility of the ProGauge portfolio. He stated that regardless of a customer’s geographic location, forecourt configuration, or operational requirements, DFS aims to provide solutions that meet specific site needs. The LR120 Radar further demonstrates DFS’s ability to help operators monitor and measure virtually any liquid or solid material stored on site.

DFS operates as a leading provider of advanced energy dispensing equipment, electronic automation systems, point-of-sale and payment solutions, automatic tank gauging technologies, and subscription-based services for fueling and convenience retail customers worldwide.
