BeyondTrucks has launched a new real-time, AI-powered Optimization Solution directly integrated into its Transportation Management System (TMS), offering fleets a tactical and dynamic approach to dispatch planning. The announcement was made at ATA’s 2025 Management Conference & Exhibition in San Francisco and San Diego.
The company aims to replace outdated legacy systems and manual processes with an AI-native, multi-tenant cloud platform tailored for enterprise fleets. Suboptimal planning currently costs American trucking companies an estimated $150–$200 billion annually.
CEO Hans Galland said dispatchers often rely on tribal knowledge or outdated systems that cannot adapt to change. “Plans become obsolete the moment they’re created,” he noted. He emphasized that BeyondTrucks enables instant re-optimization of load assignments across drivers, equipment, routes, and schedules when new constraints arise.
Built to handle real-world fleet dynamics, the platform allows human planners to adjust constraints—such as driver qualification limits or state restrictions—and re-run optimization instantly. Galland added that most traditional TMS offerings struggle with real-time data access and intuitive workflows, resulting in planners overriding system recommendations. “With BeyondTrucks’ data structure being architected for the demands of AI, the platform can now deploy optimization algorithms natively and present recommendations in an intuitive way. It’s a true breakthrough moment for our industry.”
The solution leverages native data integration with other fleet technologies—including ELDs, maintenance scheduling tools, driver management systems, and navigation data—to minimize data delays and reduce manual overrides. The platform enhances decision-making through a broader set of operational insights, improving efficiency and responsiveness when unexpected disruptions occur.
BeyondTrucks expects the new solution to deliver stronger customer service performance and competitive advantage by enabling fleets to re-optimize loads on demand—supporting flexibility, resilience, and faster responses in a highly unpredictable operating environment.
Based in San Francisco, BeyondTrucks provides an AI-native, SOC-2 compliant TMS designed for specialty, private, and enterprise fleets. The platform replaces legacy tools with unified workflows, automation, and more than 100 built-in integrations to help fleets operate efficiently and make smarter decisions in the age of AI.
