Arcanum Infrastructure Appoints New Chief Financial Officer and Chief Commercial Officer

HOUSTON, TX, UNITED STATES — Arcanum Infrastructure, LLC has announced the appointment of two senior executives to its leadership team, strengthening its capacity to execute its next phase of strategic growth. Pat Geer has been named Chief Commercial Officer, effective January 1, 2026, and Christian Barker has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, effective January 21, 2026.

The expansion of Arcanum’s executive team reflects the company’s continued momentum in the downstream fuels and chemicals sector and its commitment to disciplined, scalable growth.

“Pat and Christian are exceptional additions to Arcanum’s leadership team at an important moment in our growth journey,” said Matt Bogun, President and CEO of Arcanum Infrastructure. “They bring the commercial leadership and financial discipline needed to scale efficiently. Their experience will strengthen our ability to deepen customer partnerships, expand organically, evaluate strategic M&A opportunities, and deliver long-term value for our partners.”

Strengthening Commercial Strategy

Pat Geer joins Arcanum after more than 15 years with ExxonMobil in its Chemicals business, where he held senior roles spanning marketing, commercial strategy, business development, and finance. His cross-functional experience positions him to lead Arcanum’s commercial expansion efforts across existing and new platforms.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Geer will oversee business development, strategy execution, marketing and branding initiatives, and the continued enhancement of commercial processes and capabilities. His mandate includes advancing Arcanum’s growth agenda beyond its current asset base while reinforcing long-term customer alignment.

Arcanum’s infrastructure model centers on building and operating custom petrochemical production assets that provide customers with secure access to industrial-scale supply without requiring them to deploy their own capital. Under long-term offtake agreements and transparent, equation-based pricing structures, customers benefit from reduced supply-chain risk and improved margin predictability. Geer’s leadership is expected to further strengthen these strategic partnerships.

Enhancing Financial Discipline and Capital Strategy

Christian Barker joins Arcanum from TD Securities, where he spent more than a decade in Investment Banking as a senior member of the global chemicals and infrastructure practice. His experience includes advising on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transactions across the sector.

As Chief Financial Officer, Barker will lead Arcanum’s financial strategy, capital planning, financial reporting, risk management, and investor and lender engagement. He will work closely with the executive leadership team and Board of Managers to support disciplined capital allocation and scalable financial processes as the company expands its footprint.

His background in complex transactions and infrastructure finance aligns closely with Arcanum’s growth ambitions, particularly as the company evaluates strategic investments and partnership opportunities within the petrochemical landscape.

Positioning for Long-Term Growth

Kevin Clement, Chair of Arcanum’s Board of Managers, emphasized the strategic importance of the appointments. “The expansion of the Arcanum leadership team positions the company to accelerate growth within the downstream fuels and chemicals industry on behalf of our strategic partners,” Clement said. “Pat and Christian’s unique backgrounds are a strong complement to the existing leadership team and will be instrumental in guiding Arcanum into its next era.”

Arcanum Infrastructure is jointly owned by Partners Group, a leading global private markets firm acting on behalf of its clients, and a large Canadian pension plan whose investment is managed by FIC, an infrastructure-focused investment firm. The company operates as a Responsible Care certified business and is committed to meeting and exceeding industry safety and performance standards.

With the addition of Geer and Barker, Arcanum reinforces its mission to bring infrastructure-style reliability, safety, transparency, and strategic alignment to the downstream fuels and chemicals industry.
