Cybersecurity company ESET announced that its ESET PRIVATE Scanning Solutions had become available through AWS Marketplace, giving Amazon Web Services customers a streamlined way to procure and deploy high performance threat scanning within their cloud environments.
The move reflected the growing importance of cloud marketplaces as procurement and deployment channels for enterprise technology. By making the solution available through AWS Marketplace, ESET enabled customers to manage procurement through their existing AWS accounts while giving security and DevOps teams a faster route to deployment.
The availability was designed to reduce the time required to evaluate, purchase and integrate threat scanning capabilities into cloud applications and data workflows.

The AWS Marketplace availability was intended to simplify procurement while allowing businesses to incorporate high performance threat scanning into applications and protect critical data flows.
Real Time Scanning for Cloud Workloads
ESET PRIVATE Scanning Solutions used a static scanning engine designed to inspect large volumes of inbound data and identify threats in real time. The system was built to scale dynamically according to workloads, making it suitable for environments where the volume of files and data could fluctuate significantly.
The technology enabled organisations to scan files before they were stored, shared or processed. This approach was particularly relevant to businesses managing large data pipelines, upload portals, storage platforms and applications that handled files from external users or systems.
Rather than relying on a complete endpoint security deployment, the scanning technology could be integrated directly into applications and data environments. ESET said the solution could detect malware in milliseconds while supporting the inspection of incoming content.

The scanning engine incorporated advanced behavioural analysis to identify both known and emerging threats, including malware and zero day attacks.
As organisations increasingly moved applications, storage and data processing workloads to the cloud, the ability to inspect content before it entered critical systems became an important component of cybersecurity strategy. ESET also offered customers the opportunity to try the scanning solution free for one month through AWS Marketplace, allowing organisations to assess its capabilities within their own environments before committing to longer term use.
