Guy Duncan and Parvinder Bhatia join Thunes’ executive leadership team to accelerate AI-driven innovation and global financial scaling
SINGAPORE- Thunes, the Smart Superhighway for moving money globally, announced two strategic executive appointments: Guy Duncan as Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTPO) and Parvinder Bhatia as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). These appointments mark a new growth chapter as Thunes continues to scale its proprietary Direct Global Network and enhance its technological and financial capabilities.
Guy Duncan brings world-class expertise in digital transformation and rapid scaling, having previously served as CTO at fintech unicorn Tide and OVO Energy. He has led BMW’s digital transformation across 64 markets and successfully scaled Tide’s platform from 50,000 to over 1 million members. As CTPO, Guy will lead Thunes’ technology and product functions, building high-velocity teams and deploying AI across the Direct Global Network to address friction in global money movement for Thunes’ Members.
Parvinder Bhatia joins from bunq, Europe’s first AI-powered bank, where he served as CFO, strengthening financial strategy and supporting rapid international expansion. With over 24 years of experience in fintech, private equity, and venture-backed businesses, Parvinder has a strong record of scaling finance organizations, driving operational transformation, and supporting high-growth companies. At Thunes, he will lead the global finance organization and partner with the executive team to support the company’s expansion.
