Thailand to Host Asia’s Most Strategic Textile & Apparel Sourcing Exhibition
NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES — Thailand is set to welcome the global textile and apparel community as CEMS-Global USA officially announces the 2nd Asia Sourcing Show 2026 (Textiles & Apparel) alongside the inaugural Global Sourcing Summit 2026. The twin events will take place from 3–5 June 2026 at the IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center in Bangkok, positioning Thailand as a central gateway for international sourcing, trade dialogue, and industry collaboration.
The announcement was made at a high-profile press conference held at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit in Bangkok, attended by leading industry stakeholders, media representatives, and senior officials from Thailand’s textile and apparel sector. Distinguished speakers included Mr. Suthee Kositwongsakul, Secretary General of the National Federation of Thai Textile Industries (NFTTI); Dr. Chanchai Sirikasemlert, Executive Director of the Thailand Textile Institute (THTI); representatives from the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB); and Mr. S. S. Sarwar, Group CEO of CEMS-Global USA and Asia-Pacific.
“We welcome the global textile and apparel community to Thailand this June, to a platform where Asia meets the world — and where Thailand stands at the forefront of a new era in global sourcing,” said S. S. Sarwar.
A Multi-Country Platform for the Entire Value Chain
The 2nd Asia Sourcing Show 2026 forms part of CEMS-Global USA’s internationally recognized Textile Series of Exhibitions, held across Bangladesh, Brazil, Morocco, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. The Bangkok edition integrates two specialized platforms: the 2nd Asian International Apparel Sourcing Show and the 2nd Asian International Yarn & Fabric Sourcing Show.
Together, these exhibitions will bring manufacturers and suppliers from across the textile and apparel value chain under one roof — spanning yarns, fabrics, trims, accessories, finished garments, and textile technologies.
Strategic partners include the International Apparel Federation (IAF) and the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX), with strong support from NFTTI, THTI, and TCEB. The initiative aims to elevate Thailand and broader ASEAN manufacturing capabilities onto the global stage while strengthening cross-border sourcing networks.
Responding to a Transforming Global Industry
The global textile and apparel sector is undergoing profound structural shifts driven by supply chain diversification, tariff adjustments, evolving trade corridors, nearshoring strategies, and the rise of regional trade blocs. Asia has emerged as the epicenter of manufacturing resilience and innovation.
Asia Sourcing 2026 is strategically designed to address these shifts by creating a unified, pan-Asian B2B sourcing marketplace. The platform will connect Asian manufacturers with buyers from South and Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, the Far East, and Australasia seeking multi-country sourcing solutions that prioritize flexibility and risk mitigation.
By hosting the event in Bangkok — geographically positioned at the crossroads of Asia’s manufacturing landscape — organizers aim to solidify Thailand’s status as a preferred global hub for textile and apparel sourcing.
Global Sourcing Summit 2026: Shaping the Industry’s Future
Running concurrently with the exhibition, the first-ever Global Sourcing Summit 2026 will convene international federations, policymakers, brands, sourcing executives, and thought leaders. The summit will focus on high-level discussions around emerging sourcing corridors, trade intelligence, sustainable growth strategies, and technological transformation across the textile ecosystem.
The summit reinforces Thailand’s growing influence as a meeting point for strategic dialogue and long-term global manufacturing collaboration.
A One-Stop Global Marketplace
The 2nd Asia Sourcing Show 2026 will feature:
• Leading Asian apparel manufacturers and exporters
• Yarn, fabric, trims, and accessories suppliers
• Textile technology and machinery innovators
• Networking forums, business matchmaking sessions, and knowledge-driven conferences
This comprehensive approach positions the exhibition as a one-stop sourcing destination, enabling global buyers to access diversified manufacturing capabilities while supporting Asian producers in expanding into new international markets.
More than an exhibition, the 2nd Asia Sourcing Show 2026 and the Global Sourcing Summit 2026 are envisioned as catalysts for industry transformation — fostering collaboration, strengthening trade partnerships, and shaping the next chapter of global textile and apparel sourcing.
