100 Women in Finance, KKR, and Capital Group Convene Industry Leaders to Share Market Outlooks

NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES – 100 Women in Finance, in collaboration with global investment leaders KKR and Capital Group, recently hosted a high-level program at KKR’s Hudson Yards headquarters in New York City. The gathering brought together senior executives, thought leaders, and finance professionals to discuss the evolution of investment strategies and the future of portfolio diversification across public and private markets.

The event featured insights from Alisa Wood, Partner and Co-CEO of KKR Private Equity Conglomerate LLC, and Holly Framsted, CFA, Global Head of Product at Capital Group. The discussion was moderated by Shannon Rutter, Managing Director and Head of Americas Strategic Accounts for Global Wealth Solutions at KKR.

Panelists explored how institutional and individual investors are responding to shifting markets, rethinking portfolio construction, and aligning strategies with long-term client goals. Wood emphasized the growing role of innovation at the intersection of public and private assets, noting that clients are increasingly drawn to solutions that provide both growth and diversification across economic cycles.

Framsted underscored the importance of investor education, observing that when clients clearly understand the purpose of each building block in their portfolios, they are better positioned to remain invested and achieve outcomes that align with their long-term objectives.

Elevating Women in Finance

The program also highlighted the mission of 100 Women in Finance, a global nonprofit committed to advancing gender equity in the industry. By providing members with access to timely market insights, peer engagement opportunities, and leadership development, the organization works toward building a true meritocracy in finance.

“This event demonstrated the influence and expertise that women bring to investment conversations,” said Rehana Farrell, CEO of 100 Women in Finance. “Hearing from leaders like Alisa and Holly inspires the next generation of professionals while reinforcing the value of diverse perspectives in shaping resilient markets.”

Expanding Market Access

The event coincided with a recently announced collaboration between Capital Group and KKR aimed at expanding access to alternative investments. Their joint initiatives are designed to simplify entry into blended public-private strategies, combining the scale, research, and expertise of both firms. These offerings seek to open new pathways for investors by lowering barriers such as high minimums and limited access, traditionally associated with alternative asset classes.
