Lucas Tan, Event Director of The Battery Show Asia, stated: “Women are transforming the energy sector, yet their contributions are frequently behind the scenes. These awards celebrate their achievements and provide visibility to role models who are defining the energy transition. By highlighting these leaders, we aim to encourage more women to enter the sector and help the industry benefit from inclusive and diverse leadership.”

The Women Leaders in Energy Awards also provided a platform for recipients to engage with global industry decision-makers, share insights, and foster collaboration across the Asia-Pacific energy ecosystem. Attendees had the opportunity to exchange ideas with peers and industry leaders, strengthening networks essential for the adoption of sustainable energy solutions.

This recognition aligns with a broader movement to empower women across energy, demonstrating that leadership diversity is not only a matter of equity but also a driver of innovation, problem-solving, and resilience in the sector. Awardees are expected to continue influencing policy, advancing technology, and inspiring the next generation of energy innovators.
