HONG KONG, The Battery Show Asia celebrated the inaugural Women Leaders in Energy Awards on March 10, honoring 16 exceptional women who are shaping the energy landscape across Asia-Pacific. This landmark recognition highlights the pivotal role of female leaders in accelerating innovation, sustainability, and the transition to a cleaner, more resilient energy future.
The awards, presented on Asia’s premier platform for battery technology, energy storage, and electric vehicle (EV) innovation, were divided into two categories. The Energy Changemaker Award recognized eight established leaders making a significant impact on energy transition efforts. Meanwhile, the Energy Rising Star Award celebrated eight emerging talents poised to lead the next generation of energy innovation. Together, these awardees represent a broad cross-section of the energy ecosystem—from EV manufacturing and battery technology to energy storage, materials innovation, and clean energy infrastructure.
