MILAN, March 6, 2026 As anticipation builds around the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina, TCL Electronics has launched an expansive outdoor campaign across the Italian city, celebrating the global sporting spectacle while reinforcing its role as a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner. The campaign transforms Milan into a vibrant stage for the brand’s message of “Inspire Greatness,” connecting the spirit of the Games with audiences from around the world.
The large-scale initiative includes advertising placements in more than 30 prominent locations across Milan, with hundreds of additional displays appearing throughout key travel routes and gateways. With the city welcoming athletes, media, and visitors eager to witness the Olympic action, the campaign aims to create a powerful visual presence that resonates with both local residents and international spectators arriving for the event.
Throughout Milan, TCL’s visuals appear along major roads, on sightseeing buses, inside metro stations, and at some of the city’s busiest transport hubs. Key travel points such as Milan’s central railway stations and the city’s two major airports Malpensa and Linate feature the brand’s messaging prominently. The campaign’s reach extends even further, appearing in surrounding cities including Venice and Verona, ensuring that visitors traveling across northern Italy encounter the brand’s Olympic-inspired storytelling.
Among the most striking installations is a massive billboard mounted on the 90-meter-high Tower of Municipal Technical Services in central Milan. Rising above the skyline, the display ensures visibility across large sections of the city, reinforcing the scale and ambition of the campaign.
According to Stefan Streit, Chief Marketing Officer for TCL Europe, the campaign is designed to celebrate more than just the athletes competing in the Games. Instead, it highlights the universal idea of striving for excellence. The “Inspire Greatness” theme reflects the belief that the Olympic spirit determination, resilience, and ambition belongs to everyone who seeks to push beyond their limits. By bringing this message into everyday urban spaces, TCL hopes to connect the excitement of the Games with daily life in the host city.
Beyond outdoor advertising, the company has also created immersive public experiences that invite people to interact with the brand’s latest innovations. At Milan Central Station, TCL has unveiled TCL Edelweiss Land, an interactive showcase located in Piazza Duca d’Aosta. Spanning more than 500 square meters, the installation provides visitors with an opportunity to explore TCL’s newest technologies while participating in activities designed to celebrate the Olympic atmosphere.
Open daily from morning until late evening during the Olympic period, the space offers hands-on demonstrations of advanced products, including the TCL SQD-Mini LED TV X11L. Designed with environmentally conscious principles in mind, the installation highlights TCL’s commitment to sustainable innovation while creating memorable experiences for visitors passing through one of Europe’s busiest railway hubs.
The company’s engagement with Italian audiences extends even further through the TCL Road to Milano Cortina 2026 Tour, a traveling brand activation that visits shopping centers and public spaces across the country. The tour began in Rome in late 2025 and has already made stops in cities such as Turin and Venice before arriving in Milan. Currently featured at the IL CENTRO Arese shopping complex, the activation allows visitors to interact with TCL products while immersing themselves in Olympic-themed experiences.
Additional visibility is provided at the Milano Certosa retail store, where a dedicated Olympic-themed booth further strengthens the brand’s presence in the city. These initiatives are part of TCL’s broader strategy to bring technology, sports, and culture together in engaging ways that resonate with consumers.
Beyond marketing activations, TCL is also playing an important role in supporting the infrastructure behind the Games themselves. The company is providing televisions, digital signage, and technical support to the Olympic Broadcasting Services, ensuring that broadcasters at the International Broadcasting Centre can deliver coverage of the event to viewers around the world.
TCL technology will also appear inside the Milano Olympic Village, where the company is showcasing its expanding “screen universe” and other innovations, including AI-enabled air conditioners. These technologies highlight how modern smart home solutions are transforming the way fans and athletes experience major sporting events.
Inside the Olympic Villages at Anterselva and Livigno, TCL appliances are helping provide comfort for athletes during their stay. Smart washing machines, dryers, and televisions allow competitors to relax and recharge between events, offering a glimpse of the brand’s vision for connected living.
The company is also supporting the Olympic “Athlete Moment,” a special initiative that enables competitors to connect with family and loved ones immediately after their events. By providing the display technology that powers these emotional moments, TCL contributes to one of the most memorable experiences of the Games celebrating victory, perseverance, and personal achievement.
Adding a cultural dimension to its Olympic engagement, TCL has collaborated with the Olympic Museum to bring a striking mural to Milan’s Corso di Porta Romana. The artwork was conceived by Zeina Rashid, a former Olympic table tennis player who represented Jordan in the Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 Games. Selected through the museum’s Olympian Artists Programme, Rashid drew inspiration from childhood memories of watching the Winter Olympics on television.
Her vision was brought to life by mural artist Bublegum, resulting in a vibrant artwork that celebrates the cultural legacy of the Olympic Games and the dreams they inspire. The mural reflects the idea that for many young people around the world, their first encounter with the Olympic spirit happens through a screen sparking ambitions that may one day lead them to compete on the world stage.
Through its extensive campaign, public experiences, technological support, and artistic collaborations, TCL Electronics is positioning itself at the intersection of sport, technology, and culture during the 2026 Winter Olympics. The initiative not only celebrates the excitement surrounding the Games but also reinforces the company’s broader mission: using innovation to inspire greatness in everyday life.
