Tanzania Investment Summit

The Tanzania Investment Summit 2026 will take place in Arusha from 3–5 June 2026, convened by the Tanzania Investment Growth Facility (TIGF) under the patronage of ESRF and UNDP Tanzania, in collaboration with AFSIC. Designed as a transaction-driven platform, the Summit will bring together government institutions, domestic financiers, international investors, and development finance institutions to accelerate bankable investment into Tanzania’s strategic public projects.

The Summit responds to strong investor interest in Tanzania, following the presentation of a USD 282.9 million project pipeline at AFSIC 2025 in London, while addressing persistent challenges in project preparation, financial structuring, ESG integration, and SOE revenue models.

Tanzania continues to post robust GDP growth of 5.5–6.5 per cent, supported by macroeconomic stability, structural reforms, and a diversified economy aligned with Tanzania Development Vision 2050. Building on recent policy and technical reforms led by government, ESRF, and UNDP, the Summit will align policy, institutions, and capital around a clear project preparation and financing roadmap.

By linking public sector reform with domestic and international capital, the Tanzania Investment Summit 2026 aims to accelerate deal origination and position Tanzania as a leading destination for inclusive, climate-aligned, and commercially viable investment in East Africa.
