TAICEND Showcased New IAD Care Series at MEDICA 2025, Redefining Skin Protection for Elderly Care

KAOHSIUNG CITY, Taiwan:AICEND advanced the science of wound healing and skin protection with the introduction of its newly developed Incontinence-Associated Dermatitis (IAD) Care Series at MEDICA 2025. The product line was specifically designed to support elderly and fragile skin, offering caregivers a more effective and simplified way to prevent and manage IAD.

The new IAD Care Series was presented as a practical, two-step daily routine that gently protected skin exposed to prolonged moisture or irritation due to long-term diaper usage or limited mobility. With its clinically proven formulas, the system aimed to help reduce redness, pain, and skin erosion by addressing both cleansing and protection needs.

Step 1 – Protective Wound Cleansing Mousse
TAICEND’s Protective Wound Cleansing Mousse, the only cleansing mousse in Taiwan certified as a medical device, supported the first and most essential step in preventing IAD: proper cleansing. Formulated with Poloxamer 188, hyaluronic acid, and amino acids, the mousse delivered deep, rinse-free cleansing while remaining gentle, low-irritation, and pain-free. It helped soften impurities, hydrate fragile skin, and maintain a healthy barrier without disrupting the skin’s natural integrity.

Step 2 – Medishield Invisible Film
Following cleansing, TAICEND recommended advanced protection using the Medishield Invisible Film. The breathable, non-sticky spray formed an instant protective layer to shield the skin from friction and external irritants. Its no-touch application helped reduce contamination and discomfort. Enriched with jojoba oil, olive oil, vitamin E, and provitamin B5 (panthenol), the solution nourished fragile skin, reinforced epidermal lipids, and supported healing and repair — offering long-lasting comfort and resilience.

A Smarter, Simpler Approach to IAD Care

By combining Clean first, then Protect into one streamlined routine, TAICEND empowered both professional caregivers and family members with greater confidence in delivering daily care. This evidence-based system enhanced patient comfort, reduced recurrence of IAD, and improved overall caregiver workflow.

Grounded in clinical research and real-world practice, TAICEND’s innovation reflected its mission to create trustworthy, practical skin-care solutions that protected dignity and well-being for vulnerable individuals.

TAICEND welcomed visitors to explore its full product line and experience the future of elderly skin protection at Hall 6, Booth #H66-1 during MEDICA 2025.

The company expressed pride in leading a new era of innovation in everyday care, helping ensure fragile skin was protected with compassion, safety, and respect.
