Symbiosis International University Dubai Commemorates First Anniversary with Ministerial Visit

Symbiosis International University (SIU) Dubai marked its first anniversary with a grand celebration at the Taj Dubai, Business Bay. The event was graced by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, the Hon’ble Minister of Education, Government of India, underscoring the significance of this milestone in the context of India-UAE educational collaboration. 

A Year of Growth and Achievement

Since its inauguration in November 2024 by H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan and H.E. Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs, Government of India, SIU Dubai has swiftly expanded its academic offerings. What began with four programs has now grown to include ten diverse disciplines, encompassing technology, business, commerce, and media. This expansion reflects the institution’s commitment to providing quality education and fostering global academic collaboration. 

Strengthening India-UAE Educational Ties

The presence of Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at the anniversary celebration highlights the deepening educational ties between India and the UAE. During his visit, Minister Pradhan emphasized the importance of educational partnerships in enhancing bilateral relations and fostering academic excellence. He expressed optimism about the future of India-UAE educational collaborations and the role of institutions like SIU Dubai in this endeavor.
