George Quinn Appointed Partner, Fractional Talent at Slone Partners

SOUTH RIDING: Slone Partners, a leading executive search and talent advisory firm serving the life sciences and healthcare sectors, has announced the appointment of George Quinn as Partner, Fractional Talent. The move reinforces the firm’s growing focus on flexible, on-demand leadership solutions tailored to the evolving needs of startup and growth-stage organizations. In his new role, Quinn will play a central role in advancing Slone Partners’ fractional talent offerings, connecting innovative life sciences and healthcare companies with experienced executives and functional experts on an interim or project-based basis.

As organizations increasingly adopt hybrid workforce models, the demand for seasoned leadership without long-term commitments has accelerated, making fractional talent a strategic imperative across the industry. Quinn brings deep expertise in interim leadership, on-demand consulting, and executive advisory services, with a career spanning pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and investor-backed healthcare organizations.

Most recently, he served as Principal and Managing Director within WittKieffer’s Interim Leadership and On-Demand Consulting practice, where he supported organizations navigating periods of transition, transformation, and accelerated growth. His work focused on delivering high-impact interim executives and advisors capable of driving results in complex and dynamic environments. Prior to WittKieffer, Quinn held a senior leadership role at Heidrick & Struggles, where he served as Senior Director of On-Demand and Interim Leadership.

In that capacity, he oversaw key client accounts across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, helping companies access specialized expertise during critical inflection points, including clinical expansion, commercialization, and organizational restructuring. Earlier in his career, Quinn held progressively senior commercial and operational leadership roles at Axiom and Medasource.

At Axiom, he was recognized as Global Commercial Partner of the Year and inducted into the firm’s prestigious Circle of Excellence, reflecting his consistent performance and leadership impact. He later served as Person In Charge, Commercial Strategy and Special Projects, following a successful tenure as Market Director, RDU Operations, where he led the launch of a new company office in Raleigh, North Carolina. Quinn’s professional journey began in clinical and academic healthcare settings at TriHealth and UC Health, where he supported bench science, clinical operations, and administrative functions across clinical and anatomic pathology.

This early exposure to research and clinical environments provides him with a comprehensive understanding of the talent needs that span the full life sciences and healthcare continuum from discovery and development to commercialization and patient care. Commenting on the appointment, Leslie Loveless, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of Slone Partners, highlighted Quinn’s strategic value to the firm.

She noted that his depth of experience, strategic mindset, and commitment to excellence make him a strong addition to the leadership team, particularly as clients seek flexible access to high-caliber expertise at precisely the right time. Quinn expressed enthusiasm about joining Slone Partners, citing the firm’s reputation for integrity, excellence, and long-term partnerships within the life sciences and healthcare ecosystem.

He emphasized that fractional leadership models are playing an increasingly important role in driving innovation, agility, and sustainable growth, and said he looks forward to supporting organizations as they rethink how leadership and expertise are deployed. Quinn holds three Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Cincinnati, with academic concentrations in Neurophysiology and Neurobiology, Biology and Biological Sciences, and Chemistry.

With this appointment, Slone Partners continues to strengthen its position as a trusted partner for organizations seeking visionary leaders and flexible talent solutions in an increasingly complex and competitive global market.
