Joybees Secures Double Win at Global Footwear Awards with Kids

Denver based footwear brand Joybees earns international recognition for innovation, comfort, and playful
Joybees, the Denver headquartered casual lifestyle footwear brand, has earned global recognition after winning two prestigious honours at the 2025 Global Footwear Awards. The company’s Kids’ Rodeo Splash Boot emerged as a standout winner in both the Kids Fashion and Kids Fashion Boot categories, reinforcing Joybees’ growing reputation for blending creativity, comfort, and functionality. The dual award marks a significant milestone for the brand, which continues to carve out a distinct identity in the highly competitive footwear industry.

Selected from more than 150 submissions representing 35 countries, the Global Footwear Awards celebrate excellence across creativity, innovation, sustainability, and social impact. Winning in two categories places Joybees among an elite group of brands shaping the future of global footwear design. Ken Dayley, CEO of Joybees Footwear, described the recognition as both meaningful and personal. He noted that the Kids’ Rodeo Splash Boot represents a bold departure from conventional children’s footwear, combining a playful cowboy boot silhouette with modern materials and water friendly performance.

Inspired by the resurgence of Western pop culture, the design reimagines a classic look while delivering the durability and ease parents expect. At the heart of the Rodeo Splash Boot is Joybees’ signature HoneyFoam EVA, a lightweight and resilient material designed for energetic kids who are always on the move. The boot is built to handle puddles, playgrounds, and everyday adventures without sacrificing comfort or style. Drainage details and a textured outsole with integrated water channels help keep feet dry, while grippy soles provide stability across varied surfaces.

Ease of use was a central focus in the design process. Signature side cutouts serve as convenient grab points, allowing children to pull the boots on and off independently. A roomy fit combined with airflow friendly detailing ensures breathability and all day comfort, making the boots suitable for extended wear. The design is also compatible with Popinz accessories, allowing kids to personalise their footwear and express their individuality. The Rodeo Splash Boot will be available in three colour options, black, chicory, and flamingo pink, appealing to a wide range of preferences. Launching in mid January, the boots will be sold directly through Joybees.com with pricing starting at $39.99 across kids’ sizes ranging from C6 7 to J3 4. Beyond the product itself, the awards reflect Joybees’ broader commitment to innovation in injection molded EVA footwear.

The brand has become known for its distinctive honeycomb insole design, which delivers enhanced comfort and support across its collections. By focusing on accessible pricing without compromising on quality or design, Joybees continues to resonate with families seeking stylish yet practical footwear solutions. The Global Footwear Awards also provide valuable international exposure, opening doors to new markets and partnerships.

For Joybees, the recognition underscores its ability to compete on a global stage while staying true to its playful, customer focused ethos. As the brand continues to expand its footprint through both direct to consumer channels and third party retailers, Joybees remains focused on creating footwear that brings joy, confidence, and comfort to everyday life. With the Kids’ Rodeo Splash Boot now an award winning design, the company has set a strong tone for the year ahead. Joybees footwear is available online at Joybees.com and through select retail partners. Retailers interested in carrying the brand can find additional information on the company’s website.
