NEW LAUNCH

Indian Jewelry Leader Tanishq Debuts in Boston Area With Westborough Store, Marking 10th U.S. Location

WESTBOROUGH, Mass.– Tanishq, India’s most trusted fine jewelry brand, has expanded its U.S. footprint with the opening of its first New England location at 303 Turnpike Road, Westborough, Massachusetts 01581. The 4,000-square-foot showroom, which opened on December 4 and celebrated its formal launch on March 6, marks the brand’s 10th store in the United States. With this addition, Tanishq provides customers across Massachusetts and New England a premier destination for Indian fine jewelry, beyond the traditional Oak Tree Road market, complementing its presence in Boston, New Jersey, Virginia, and Florida.

The Westborough boutique introduces New England shoppers to Tanishq’s heritage of craftsmanship and contemporary elegance, offering an extensive collection of gold, diamond, and gemstone jewelry. Visitors can explore more than 5,000 designs, spanning bridal collections, festive wear, statement pieces, office-ready jewelry, and everyday essentials. The showroom reflects Tanishq’s signature fusion of traditional Indian artistry with modern design sensibilities, creating a space where customers can experience both cultural richness and contemporary style.

The grand opening celebration featured ceremonial traditions, including diya lighting and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, accompanied by a cultural program showcasing classical Bharatanatyam dance, a fashion presentation of Tanishq’s collections, and curated hospitality throughout the afternoon. The event was attended by community leaders and dignitaries, including Raghuram S., Consul General of India; State Senator Michael Moore; Westborough County Representative Mark S.; and Town Coordinator Laura Crawford.

“Opening in Westborough marks an important milestone for Tanishq as we establish our presence in New England,” said Amrit Pal Singh, Head of Business – North America, Titan Company Limited. “Our 10th U.S. location reflects the growing appreciation for Indian craftsmanship, and we are thrilled to introduce Tanishq’s heritage of gold artistry and contemporary design to a new audience while continuing to expand across the U.S.”

Massachusetts, along with neighboring New Hampshire and Connecticut, is home to nearly 40,000 Indian households, driving strong demand for bridal, festive, and everyday fine jewelry. The Westborough store allows Tanishq to bring its Tata service ethos and signature craftsmanship directly to customers across the region, offering a new alternative for New England shoppers seeking authentic Indian jewelry experiences.

Inside the showroom, visitors can browse collections that highlight bridal jewelry, statement pieces, modern office wear, and everyday essentials, ensuring that the range appeals to a variety of tastes and occasions. The boutique also offers expert guidance, personalized consultations, and bespoke services to provide a complete luxury jewelry experience. The assortment continues to evolve to reflect both regional preferences and global design trends, ensuring relevance to local customers while maintaining Tanishq’s distinctive identity.

Tanishq, part of the TATA Group, has been redefining luxury jewelry for over two decades, blending tradition with contemporary style. With more than 400 retail stores across India, North America, the Middle East, and the Far East, Tanishq has established itself as a global symbol of elegance, innovation, and craftsmanship. In the United States, Tanishq continues its rapid expansion, now operating 10 stores in New Jersey, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, Santa Clara, Virginia, Orlando, and Boston.

By opening in Westborough, Tanishq aims to strengthen its U.S. presence, expand access to high-quality Indian fine jewelry, and cater to a growing audience of discerning shoppers seeking products that combine cultural authenticity with modern design. The store represents a strategic step in Tanishq’s mission to provide global customers with exceptional jewelry experiences rooted in craftsmanship, heritage, and innovation.
