Fresh Express Wrapped Up a Flavorful Weekend at IFPA with Innovation and Celebrity Appearances

ORLANDO: Fresh Express®, a leader in value-added salads, brought creativity, culinary energy, and consumer-focused innovation to the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) Global Produce & Floral Show, held from October 16–18. The brand’s presence at Booth #2139 drew steady crowds with interactive experiences, product sampling, and the official debut of its latest launch, the Mediterranean Herb Chopped Kit.

The excitement elevated further with a special appearance by actress, cookbook author, and mother Tiffani Thiessen. As a member of the Fresh Expressionists program, Thiessen engaged with fans, posed for photos, and shared her enthusiasm for the new salad kit, highlighting its blend of fresh convenience and great flavor. Her involvement reflected the brand’s mission to make nutritious eating enjoyable and accessible for families.

Registered Dietitian and New York Times best-selling author Kylie Sakaida, MS, RDN, contributed to the weekend lineup with a highly attended Retail Dietitian Immersion session. She spoke about her personal journey into nutrition and delivered practical tips for incorporating leafy greens into everyday meals. Attendees responded positively to her insights and the shared commitment between Fresh Express and health experts to promote healthier lifestyles.

The Mediterranean Herb Chopped Kit quickly earned praise from visitors. Featuring a vibrant mix of crisp greens paired with Mediterranean-inspired herbs, crispy chickpeas, and creamy feta crumbles, the kit showcased a globally influenced flavor profile and strong versatility for home meals. Retail partners received a preview of additional internationally inspired offerings scheduled for release in March, signaling continued momentum within the chopped salad category.

“Our presence at the IFPA show allowed us to highlight the passion and innovation that define Fresh Express,” said Fabian Pereira, Vice President of Marketing and Innovation at Fresh Express. “From the excitement around new product flavors to the energy brought by partners like Tiffani and Kylie, the weekend showed how we continue to inspire creativity in kitchens while driving growth in the category.”

Throughout the show, guests departed with recipe ideas, branded giveaways including tote bags and exclusive cards, and renewed excitement for what Fresh Express would introduce next. The company reinforced its leadership position by coupling chef-crafted innovation with consumer insights — ensuring that fresh, ready-to-eat salads remain a convenient and delicious choice for millions of households nationwide.

Fresh Express continued to build on its legacy of pioneering the retail packaged salad category since the introduction of the Keep Crisp® bag in the 1980s. Today, the brand offered more than 100 varieties of salads, leafy greens, vegetables, and fruits enjoyed weekly by over 14 million consumers across the United States.
