The partnership was formalized in a high-profile signing ceremony attended by senior leaders from Sichuan Changhong Electric Co., Ltd., including Marco Yang, Vice Chairman and General Manager, and Helen Zhang, Deputy General Manager, along with James Wu, General Manager of Changhong’s Global Brand Promotion Center. Representing FIS were Christian Salomon, Chief Commercial Officer, and ski jumping champion Andreas Wellinger.

Founded in 1924, FIS governs winter sports for more than 100 member nations and continues to drive the popularity of premier competitions like the Ski Jumping World Cup. Known for its athletic intensity and worldwide audience, the event offers CHiQ a platform to showcase its innovative display and television technologies.

As the exclusive television and display partner, it will enhance the fan experience with immersive, high-definition visuals, underscoring its reputation for innovation. Salomon praised the collaboration, calling it’s global stature and tech expertise “a natural fit with FIS’s mission.” A symbolic exchange followed, with Salomon presenting a FIS partnership trophy and Yang gifting a panda-themed commemorative piece, reflecting it’s cultural identity.

Andreas Wellinger, continuing as CHiQ’s brand ambassador, remarked:

“CHiQ and I are deeply aligned in our pursuit of innovation and breakthrough. I’m delighted to continue this collaboration, combining winter sports and smart technology for a wider audience.”

With a strong presence across Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America, CHiQ has embraced global sports marketing to reinforce its “Smart with Style” ethos. By aligning with world-class athletes and premier events, the company is showcasing Chinese innovation on the international stage, merging intelligent technology with the passion of global sports.
