Argon Electronics Secures Contract with Military University of Land Forces in Poland
UK-based CBRN and HazMat training specialist to enhance chemical warfare preparedness
Argon Electronics, a global leader in CBRN and hazardous material (HazMat) detector simulators, has been awarded a contract with the Military University of Land Forces in Wroclaw, Poland. The UK-based training and simulation company will support the university in strengthening its chemical warfare training programs through advanced simulation tools suitable for both localized and large-scale area exercises.
The AP4C chemical detector simulator provides realistic training by reacting to safe electronic sources that simulate chemical vapours, toxic industrial substances, or false positives. Military personnel, security forces, first responders, and industrial safety teams can train effectively without exposure to live chemical agents. Instructors control scenarios remotely, adjusting wind direction, contamination levels, and other variables to create dynamic, challenging training environments.
Complementing the AP4C, the S4PE simulation unit replicates toxic substances for controlled environment training, including public buildings. Its features allow confidence testing, surface sample collection, and practice in contamination, decontamination, and persistence scenarios, ensuring a safe and practical learning experience.
Both simulators integrate with PlumeSIM, Argon Electronics’ wide-area training system, which generates realistic hazard plumes and hotspots, giving instructors real-time control over complex scenarios. This combination enables highly immersive training for students in conflict zones or hazardous environments, promoting preparedness and situational awareness.

Argon Electronics is also providing specialized training and ongoing support to ensure the effective use of these simulators. The contract was facilitated through the company’s representative in Poland, Megmar Logistics & Consulting Sp. z o.o, which will also handle after-sales support.
Steven Pike, Managing Director of Argon Electronics, stated:
“We are pleased to collaborate with Poland’s Military University of Land Forces. Poland and its neighboring regions are strategically important for expanding our presence in the European military sector. Our solutions enable safe, environmentally friendly, and effective training in a time of heightened geopolitical activity.”
Based in Luton, UK, Argon Electronics’ simulators have transformed CBRN and HazMat training globally, empowering military, defense, and emergency service organizations to conduct realistic exercises safely and efficiently.
