ROKiT’s ABK Beer Triumphs at 2025 London Beer Competition with Three Prestigious Awards

ROKiT’s ABK Beer has achieved remarkable success at the 2025 London Beer Competition, securing three distinguished awards for its ABK Edel Spezialbier. The accolades include:

  • Beer of the Year Germany
  • Pale Malty European Lager of the Year
  • Best Beer by Value

These honors underscore ABK’s commitment to quality, value, and market appeal. The London Beer Competition, now in its eighth year, is renowned for evaluating beers based on quality, value, and packaging, reflecting the criteria that influence consumer purchasing decisions. This year’s competition featured a blind tasting by a panel of esteemed beer buyers, bar owners, and industry experts from over 20 countries. ABK Edel Spezialbier distinguished itself among hundreds of entries, earning top marks in all three categories.

Bruce Renny, Group Marketing Director at ROKiT, expressed pride in the achievement, stating, “Winning three category awards is particularly rewarding, as the London Beer Competition is a blind-tasting competition judged by real experts.” Sid Patel, CEO of Beverage Trade Network, emphasized the significance of these awards, noting that a winning beer excels in quality, value, and packaging, making it a strong contender in both domestic and international markets.

ABK Beer, brewed in Kaufbeuren, Bavaria since 1308, is one of the oldest breweries in the world. In addition to its recent London Beer Competition successes, ABK has garnered multiple accolades at the European Beer Star Awards, including a Gold Medal for its Kellerbier Hell, marking its tenth European Beer Star Gold Medal in recent years.

As the official beer partner of England Rugby League, ABK continues to expand its presence and recognition in the global beer industry. For more information about ABK Beer and its award-winning brews, visit www.rokit.com.
