Outdoor footwear is increasingly expected to do more than perform on a trail. Consumers move between cities, roads, campsites and mountains without necessarily changing their identity, and footwear brands are responding by developing products that can travel across those environments.
Teva is leaning into that convergence with its Fall 2026 collection, introducing new performance and lifestyle footwear across its Trailpeak, Aventrail, Hurricane and ReEmber franchises. The collection also marks the first product co-created with the Teva Bureau of Adventure, the brand’s athlete-focused innovation group.
At the centre of the new performance offering is Trailpeak, a trail-running shoe developed and tested with Teva Bureau of Adventure athletes Erin Ton and Mike Wardian. Rather than treating athlete involvement as a final-stage endorsement, Teva says athletes contributed feedback throughout the development process, helping shape the shoe’s responsiveness, fit, stability and overall feel.
The Trailpeak is positioned as a high-performance daily trainer for fast-moving mountain adventures. It features a HYPER-COMF+ midsole, Spider Rubber Endure traction and a 12-point integrated fit system intended to provide support across changing terrain. The shoe carries a suggested retail price of $160.
That athlete-led approach reflects a broader shift in performance product development. Consumers have become more knowledgeable about technical specifications and are increasingly interested in how products perform in real conditions. For brands, athlete testing can therefore serve both as a development tool and as a credibility mechanism.
Teva is also expanding its Aventrail franchise with the Aventrail Road-2-Trail Shoe. The $150 model is designed around the transition between pavement and dirt, addressing a category of runner who may not want a dedicated shoe for every environment. The wider Aventrail family includes sandals and shoes designed for different combinations of trail and road use.
The Hurricane franchise receives its own expansion with the Hurricane Trailsetter GTX and Hurricane Trailsetter Mid GTX. Priced at $160 and $175 respectively, the new models add GORE-TEX protection to the franchise while retaining Teva’s HYPER-COMF cushioning and Spider Rubber Endure traction. The Mid GTX also provides additional ankle support for longer or more demanding outings.
But the collection is not confined to technical footwear. Teva is continuing to develop lifestyle products that bring outdoor design language into everyday wardrobes. The Ampsole Gaila Mary Jane combines a closed-toe construction, platform profile and MAX-COMF cushioning, while the NeoGamma Leather revives an archival silhouette originally introduced in the early 2000s.
The ReEmber line meanwhile continues to target the space between adventures. ReEmber Camp and ReEmber Terrain are designed around warmth, comfort and durability for recovery days, travel and everyday use. (Business Wire)
This range illustrates the changing economics of outdoor lifestyle. Consumers increasingly expect products to work across multiple parts of their lives. A trail shoe can be a training tool, a travel essential and a weekend companion, while a recovery shoe can move between a campsite and a city street.
Teva’s wider brand positioning, “For Playground Earth,” is built around the idea that outdoor activity is not restricted to major expeditions. The company describes adventure as something that can range from a mountain ascent to a walk close to home. That philosophy allows the brand to address both technical consumers and the much larger lifestyle market.
Teva has been part of Deckers Brands since the company’s broader portfolio expanded across global footwear categories. Deckers also owns brands including UGG and HOKA and distributes products across more than 50 countries and territories. (Business Wire)
For Teva, the Fall 2026 collection therefore represents more than a seasonal product refresh. It is an attempt to connect technical innovation, athlete insight and everyday design under one increasingly broad outdoor proposition.
