The People Readiness Company Expanded into Germany to Bring Readiness Diagnostics to the DACH Market

The People Readiness Company (TPRC) expanded its operations into Germany with the establishment of The People Readiness Company GmbH, bringing its organizational readiness diagnostic to businesses across the DACH region.

Based in Diessen am Ammersee near Munich and led by Founder and CEO Julius Geis, the German entity was created to help leadership teams determine whether their people were genuinely prepared to deliver the changes their organizations were planning. TPRC positioned people readiness as a critical variable alongside strategy, budget and technology, arguing that workforce preparedness was often overlooked despite being central to successful transformation.

The company assessed readiness at individual, team and organizational levels before working through structured 90 day cycles to address the gaps identified through its diagnostics. Its engagements ranged from teams of around 10 people to organizations with more than 500 employees, spanning private equity and M&A integration, internal transformation initiatives and founder led businesses experiencing rapid growth.

Measuring Readiness Before Change

One of TPRC’s DACH engagements involved Drehmoment, a Hamburg based agency that used the company’s readiness diagnostic before introducing AI tools across its operations. The assessment attracted responses from 91% of the team and identified four clear strengths, three specific gaps and three prioritized next steps that leadership could address.

The example demonstrated how readiness assessments could provide organizations with a more detailed picture of their workforce before significant technological or operational changes were introduced. Rather than assuming employees were prepared for transformation, the diagnostic helped identify where capability, confidence or alignment required additional attention.

TPRC’s methodology was designed to make readiness measurable and actionable. By identifying gaps early, leadership teams could focus their resources on specific areas instead of relying solely on broad training programs or generalized change management initiatives.

A German Language Platform

The German expansion was accompanied by a relaunch of TPRC’s website, which became available in a full German language edition. The platform outlined the company’s People Readiness methodology and provided access to a growing collection of articles and research papers focused on leadership and organizational change.

TPRC also maintained a bilingual newsletter in English and German. Published on a regular basis, the newsletter featured field notes, working drafts and upcoming research addressing the practical challenges involved in leading teams through periods of transformation.

The German language offering was intended to make the company’s framework more accessible to organizations and leadership teams across the DACH market while maintaining the same methodology used in its wider international operations.

Treating People Readiness as a Business Variable

Founded in 2021 by Julius Geis, The People Readiness Company drew on 15 years of direct experience observing technology rollouts, ownership transitions and strategic changes across two continents.

Its approach differed from conventional training programs and broad change management frameworks. TPRC focused first on measuring whether people were ready for change and then used structured 90 day development cycles to address areas where readiness was found to be lacking.

The company’s engagements covered a range of organizational situations. Private equity firms and M&A teams could use the methodology when integrating businesses following ownership changes, while internal transformation leaders could apply it to large scale operational or technological programs. Founder led companies could also use the diagnostic when rapid growth placed new demands on teams and leadership structures.

The underlying premise was straightforward: a well designed strategy could still struggle if the people responsible for implementing it were not ready.

Supporting Organizations Through Transformation

As companies across Europe continued to navigate technological disruption, AI adoption, changing ownership structures and accelerated growth, the question of workforce preparedness became increasingly significant.

TPRC’s German expansion therefore placed its methodology within a market where businesses were managing transformation across increasingly complex operating environments. Its diagnostic was intended to give leaders a clearer view of organizational strengths and weaknesses before those issues affected execution.

The company’s work also emphasized that readiness was not a one time assessment. By combining diagnostics with 90 day development cycles, TPRC sought to create an ongoing process through which organizations could identify gaps, act on them and reassess their preparedness as circumstances evolved.

The establishment of The People Readiness Company GmbH represented a significant step in TPRC’s international development. With its German language platform, local presence and readiness focused methodology, the company expanded its ability to work with organizations across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

At the heart of its approach was a question that transformation leaders increasingly had to confront: having a strategy and the technology to execute it was not enough. Organizations also needed people who were ready to carry the change forward.
