Galen College of Nursing and HCA Healthcare Launch Innovative Aurora Campus
Galen College of Nursing and HCA Healthcare, in collaboration with local affiliate HCA HealthONE, proudly announce the grand opening of their newest campus in Aurora, Colorado. The campus represents a first-of-its-kind integration of academic and clinical training, combining Galen College’s nursing education with HCA Healthcare’s Center for Clinical Advancement under one roof.
Located at 1650 South Potomac Street, the Aurora campus is designed to foster innovation, hands-on learning, and professional collaboration. Technology-enhanced classrooms, advanced simulation labs, and dedicated student resources create an immersive learning environment where graduates are prepared to deliver high-quality patient care.

The HCA Healthcare Center for Clinical Advancement complements this environment, offering realistic hospital experiences with high-fidelity simulators, state-of-the-art classrooms, and patient care rooms. Together, Galen and HCA HealthONE provide students and practicing nurses opportunities to hone clinical skills, mentor one another, and reimagine patient care delivery.
“Together, we have created an innovative educational center where students and nurses can learn, practice, and grow,” said Mark Vogt, CEO of Galen College of Nursing. “Our shared vision bridges classroom education and real-world clinical experience, preparing a new generation of highly competent nurses.”
The Aurora campus offers both a two-year Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and a three-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), with four start dates annually to enhance accessibility. Enrollment for the next term begins September 29, 2025.
“Galen College’s Aurora campus represents a significant investment in the future of healthcare in metro-Denver,” said Chad Christianson, President and CEO of HCA HealthONE. “This collaboration expands access to nursing education, strengthens the local workforce, and ensures patients receive exceptional, compassionate care.”
Galen College of Nursing, with over 35 years of experience and more than 44,000 graduates, remains focused solely on nursing education, offering associate, baccalaureate, master’s, and practical nursing programs across 24 campuses and online.
